IT’S been dubbed by one viewer as “the Harry and Meghan show” after fans were disappointed this evening that UK channel ITV’s Queen of the World documentary had “far too much Meghan” and “not enough Queen”.
Frustrated social media viewers were quick to vent their views, with one user tweeting: “So far this program is just about Meghan. Where’s the actual Queen?”

Others were annoyed that the name of the documentary, Queen of the World, didn’t seem to reflect the content of the program, while some claimed the Duchess of Sussex appears to be losing her American accent.
The editing of this program is screwed up. Firstly not much about the Queen so far and secondly you’d think Harry was next in line to the throne and not Prince Charles and Prince William. What is this, the Harry and Meghan show? #QueenOfTheWorld

“Erm thought this was about The Queen? Seems like a Meghan PR piece to me,” one wrote.
One viewer even asked if the documentary was really “the Harry and Meghan show”, commenting: “The editing of this program is screwed up.
“Firstly not much about the Queen so far and secondly you’d think Harry was next in line to the throne and not Prince Charles and Prince William. What is this, the Harry and Meghan show?”
In one scene, Meghan is reunited with her wedding dress and tenderly fingers the delicate silk tulle veil which features a flower from all 53 Commonwealth countries.
Been many viewers were particularly peeved about the focus on the Duchess’ gown, with several users confused over the footage of the 37-year-old talking about her veil.
One user joked: “What was it on the dress again? It was a bit brief. I think I missed that part.”
Some viewers noted that Meghan appeared more softly spoken than before she joined the royal family.
One tweeted: “Meghan has had voice coaching, she seems much softer, bit like how Kate’s changed too.”
Another wrote: “Meghan’s developed a case of Madonna’s accent change.”
And while some viewers were disappointed at how frequently Meghan appears in the first episode, others couldn’t stop gushing about the Duchess and the rest of the royal family.
One user described the Queen as “the most incredible woman” while another said: “Oh my goodness I love Harry and Meghan SO MUCH! The future of the royal family is bright”.
